I have always dreamed of exploring the 81 provinces of the Philippines. But as of the moment, I am on different journey, the road to MD. Now, that I am a medical student my time during weekends, including holidays huhu, will be spent for studying and work. Waahhhh, I will definitely miss traveling. I've been to beaches of Boracay, Palawan, Camiguin, Panglao, Samal, Pagudpud ,and these were tagged to be our country's finest, but wait till you see Bantayan of Cebu and Kalanggaman of Leyte. You'll surely save a place for them on the top list. We actually stayed in Cebu for 3 days, but I opt to blog about our Bantayan-Kalanggaman trip alone. We spent our last day at the South, in Kawasan falls. Ours was very tiring, so I won't suggest that you do that. You should spend at least two days in Bantayan and/or spend a night camping at Kalanggaman. Here's our jampacked itinerary for our Bantayan x Kalanggaman two-day trip for only 3,000 php ( for a group of 5, airfare excluded). KL-Melaka-SG, Bali, Brunei-KK: A Crazy Backpacking Trip

Three backpackers , with only 30,000 Php (600 USD)  each in their pockets, traveled for three weeks to six cities/destinations (Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, Singapore, Bali, Bandar Seri Begawan, Kota Kinabalu) in four countries (Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, ) . *Airfare excluded (PHP 11,442- for all our 4 flights) How foolish was that? Oh yes, we were that crazy! My friends and I were too busy prior this trip. So none of us made a planned itinerary nor have read nor researched about where we're going. We also weren't able to change our PHP to USD (ganoon kami ka-busy that time, talo tuloy kami sa palitan, sobrang baba ng Peso huhu) . Our mantra- be spontaneous, explore, and be surprised by what these places offer . As backpackers would say , travel with les s plans  and more freedom. Wala na ngang plano, wala pang pera haha and that made our trip even crazier. But we definitely had fun, getting lost, and eventually being found (bakit may hugot ka besh?). W

Indochina or mainland South East Asia is a popular travel destination among backpackers worldwide. Firstly because traveling here is way cheaper than other countries. And mainly because Indochina has a lot to offer. It has diverse culture and religion, rich history,  warm people, mouthwatering foods,  pristine beaches and majestic mountains, frisky nightlife and serene countryside living. It basically offers a bit of everything. And Indochina as my first travel destination abroad is a perfect choice.
