Mi Amor, Surigao del Sur

In this post I'll be sharing to you the itinerary of our DIY travel to Surigao del Sur with Agusan del Norte and Davao Oriental side trip for only P4,000.

I first met Mindanao when I had my b-day solo travel last 2015. I was allured, mesmerized the moment I laid my eyes on her. It was love at first sight. Can't stop smiling whenever I would remember her. I'm just overjoyed to be back in her arms even for a few days.

*All pictures are unedited. Sorry for low quality photos hihi took most of them using an android phone.

It was really amazing. Funny how we were talking for hours but we haven't introduced ourselves to each other haha.

SUN-KISSED

Do I need to say more?  The white sand, clear waters, blue sky, dancing trees, the welcoming locals (plus Taty and Yanyan's company) who wouldn't fall in love with Surigao del Sur? Take note it's just Day 1. Patikim pa lang yan mga beshie.

'Till now, no diver has ever reached the bottom of this river. Aside from its crystal clear waters , its unfathomable depth makes it so enchanting. No one is allowed to swim during fish feeding at 12nn and beyond 5 pm.

There's a folktale that this river is guided by spirits. That's why even if there are plenty of fishes in the river, no fisherman could catch any.

It took us 2.5 effin hours of zigzag habal-habal ride just to see this, and baby it was WORTH IT! It's the tallest falls in Ph ( 1,120 feet) and is def one of the grandest and most beautiful falls I have seen. Dubbed to be the "Stairway to Heaven", oh she deserves it.
